Martin Hernandez is a digital storyteller in UIC Strategic Marketing and Communications, documenting the lives of students, faculty, staff, and alumni who embody the university’s values.
Martin is a proud UIC alum. As a student, he was a lab assistant in the moving image equipment room and a video archivist for Gallery 400.
Prior to joining the SMC team in 2023, Martin partnered with institutions, brands, and nonprofits to produce engaging media content for marketing and documentation purposes.
Fun fact: Martin loves traveling by train.
