About
Christy Levy is the associate copy editor and writer in the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications, providing copy editing, writing and editorial support to inform, inspire and engage the brand and reputation of the University of Illinois Chicago.
Before joining UIC in 2007, Christy was a copy editor and page designer for the Northwest Herald and a reporter the Lake County Journal. She was a Dow Jones News Fund intern at the Erie-Times News in Pennsylvania and an editing intern at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in Wisconsin.
Christy received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Fun fact: Christy enjoys baking, especially creating holiday-themed desserts.
