About
Sarah Tapper is the director of fiscal and business affairs in Strategic Marketing and Communications, supporting strategic budgetary needs and financial operations for all units reporting to SMC. Sarah also holds appointments in the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, where she manages similar responsibilities.
Sarah earned her MBA and bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from UIC. She has worked with SMC since inception and with UIC administrative offices for more than 25 years.
Fun fact: Sarah is one of several SMC team members who have twins.
