About
Carlos Sadovi is senior associate director and bilingual storyteller focusing on telling great stories in both English and Spanish.
Carlos joined UIC in 2016. During his tenure, he also served as the media relations contact for the College of Education, the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts, and the University Library.
Before joining UIC, Carlos was a journalist for nearly 30 years, including six years at the Chicago Sun-Times and 12 years at the Chicago Tribune, where he was a reporter and senior digital editor. He has a master’s in journalism from New York University and a bachelor’s in English and rhetoric from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Fun fact: Carlos was part of a Pulitzer Prize finalist team at the Tribune.
